I started Nexus Reporting because accounting firms kept finding themselves stuck between two uncomfortable positions - either turn away crypto-active clients, or accept the job and watch it blow the budget.
I came from tax accounting, so I know exactly how these reports get used on the compliance side. I've been specialising in crypto specifically since May 2020, which in this industry is a lifetime. I've seen every broken CSV, every throttled API, every wallet history that doesn't match what the software thinks happened. I know where the errors live before I even source the data.
What I do isn't magic. It's a specialist doing one thing full-time, with systems and processes built specifically for it - which means I can produce a report faster and more accurately than a generalist accountant training on the job, and often at a lower total cost than the hours it would consume internally.
I am not a registered tax agent. I don't give tax advice, and I don't give financial advice. I collate, reconcile and report data. Your firm applies the professional judgement. That's the line, and it's deliberate.
